IN THE BEGINNING...
God created a perfect world and made people in His image to live forever and know Him personally. He gave Adam and Eve free will and put them in charge of the Earth, with just one rule: "don't eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil."
The Devil tempted Eve into eating it, and then she gave it to Adam and he did too. That moment everything changed. They lost their innocence; sin drove a wedge of spiritual separation between them and God and now physical death. This same wedge of separation affects all of us today. Every person born into this world carries this same burden of sin and death.
We've inherited a problem that keeps us from truly knowing God or living the way He intended. The rebellion that started with Adam and Eve lives on in all of us. Deep down, we feel like something is missing. We search for meaning and purpose, but so many of us end up right back where we started — confused, frustrated, and empty. Never quite satisfied.
That disconnect leads us to live life on our own terms, leaving God out of the picture. But here's the truth: God is completely holy and perfect. His rules aren't meant to hold us back — they're meant to protect us and help us thrive. They actually lead us to the freedom we were made for.
The great news is that God has made a way for us to know Him. Even with all our flaws, God is personally inviting you to find out who you really are and why you're here. Jesus came into the world and took the punishment for everything we've done wrong. Through His death and resurrection, the power of sin and death was broken. His sacrifice gives us a fresh start and a whole new life.
Your story is a door that has always been open, just waiting for you to walk through it — the way God planned for you from the very beginning: LIVING IN FREEDOM.
"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Romans 1:20 (NLT)

Jesus Christ said:
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"
John 14:6 (NLT)
It really is that simple. You meet Him right where you are — in your heart, your mind, your choices. Saying yes or no to His invitation will shape the entire direction of your life. That's all there is to it. There are no other options, because nothing else actually works.
We don't want to hear that, so we avoid it. We're unsure, we doubt, or we just don't want to deal with what saying yes might mean. If we're honest, a lot of us like doing things our own way — we just don't like where it leads us or the problems it causes.
So we keep looking for other answers. We try different things to fill the gap or fix our problems. Some of those things are harmful, only work for a little while, or pull us into habits we can't break free from. Eventually, we end up right back at the beginning, looking for the next solution all over again.
The Bible says:
"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death."
Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)
Every decision we make is based on what we know, what we've heard, or what we think is best. We only find out if we were right by looking at what happens next.
Just look at the world around you. How's it all working out? The honest answer is — not great. We keep getting it wrong. The real problem isn't just what we're doing. It's how we think and how we see the world.
The Bible calls this WALKING IN DARKNESS.

"Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the day of rebellion."—
Hebrews 3:15 (NIV)
A choice has to be made. You're not alone in feeling some pushback when you hear His call to turn your life around. Either you take that step of faith and begin a real relationship with God, or you walk away and keep living the way you have been. Every single one of us reaches this moment where we have to be honest with ourselves and give Him our answer.
Webster's Dictionary defines the word REPENT as "to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's life." In plain terms — it means turning away from the wrong path and committing to a better one.
Jesus Christ is personally calling you to step out of the darkness and into His light. He is the light and the source of life for all of us. In Him, every sin you've ever committed is forgiven. You get a fresh start, built on something solid. A life with real purpose, with God's promises to stand on, and the certainty of eternal life waiting for you.
You can't earn any of it. You don't deserve it. None of us do.
The Bible calls this GRACE.

Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
John 8:36 (NIV)
I have come to give them life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10 (NKJV)
"For I know the plans I have for you declares the LORD. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.“
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
Your journey begins with an honest desire and a willingness to change. God sees you. He knows everything about you — your thoughts, your heart, your past. He knows the things you're ashamed of and the stuff you've kept buried inside. And yes, He still loves you anyway.
All it takes is a sincere heart and a simple prayer like this:
Lord, I admit that I've sinned against You. I ask you to forgive me. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me life. Come into my life and change me. Help me discover the purpose you have for my life. Amen.
"Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."
John 5:24 (NIV)
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame."
Romans 10:9-11 (NKJV)
"And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the Gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit."
Ephesians 1:13 (NIV)
When you believe and say yes to Christ, something real happens. You are forgiven, you are saved, and God's own Spirit comes to live inside you — sealing you as His and marking the start of your new life.
