LIVING IN THE NEWNESS OF LIFE

RESOURCES TO HELP YOU GROW

How God Sees You

God's Word - The Bible

God's Word - The Bible

You matter deeply to God. He created you in His own image and loves you more than you may realize. Every single one of us is uniquely made by God and carries real worth and dignity — not because of what we've done, but because of who made us.

God wants a personal relationship with each of us. That's exactly why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ — to reach us, save us, and bring us back to Him. Out of everything He created, people matter most to Him. He wants everyone to turn to Him and experience His love and salvation firsthand.

And here's the part that's hard to fully wrap our heads around — our flaws and failures don't change how God feels about us. His love doesn't turn on and off based on what we do or don't do. It stays constant. That alone tells you just how much value He places on your life and on every life.

God's Word - The Bible

The Bible is God's Word — breathed out by Him and written to speak to every part of our lives. It is split into two main sections. The Old Testament covers God's relationship with people before Jesus came.  The New Testament focuses on the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Through the Bible, we get to see who God really is — His character, His love for people, and His plan to save us. It is a book of wisdom for when you need answers, comfort for when you're hurting, and real power to change the way you think and live.

For anyone who follows Christ, reading and studying the Bible is one of the most important things you can do. The more time you spend in it, the closer you get to God — and the clearer the path becomes for living a life that truly honors Him.

The Blood of Christ

God's Word - The Bible

The Blood of Christ

What Jesus did on the cross and His blood He shed there means everything to those who believe. It was the ultimate sacrifice — the payment for every sin we have ever committed. Through His blood we are forgiven, set free, and brought back into a right relationship with God.

His blood washes us completely clean from sin. It makes us right in God's eyes — not because of anything we've done, but because of what Jesus did for us. The power that sin and death once had over our lives is broken. And because of His sacrifice, we now have direct access to God and the promise of eternal life.

The blood of Christ is the clearest picture of God's love and grace that we will ever see. It sealed a new agreement between God and people — one built not on our ability to follow rules perfectly, but on Jesus paying the price we never could.

The Holy Spirit

The Power of Prayer

The Blood of Christ

The Holy Spirit is not a distant force or a vague idea — He is God living inside you, and His role in your life is powerful and personal.

He is the one who first opens your eyes to sin and draws you toward repentance. When you say yes to Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to live within you and gives you a brand new life from the inside out.

From that point on, He is with you every step of the way. When you're struggling, He brings comfort. When you're lost, He brings wisdom. When you feel weak, He gives you the strength to keep going and live the way God intended.

The Holy Spirit also equips you with gifts and abilities to serve others and do meaningful work for God. He produces real change in your character — the kind of fruit in your life that points others toward God.

And on the days when you don't even know how to pray or what to say, the Holy Spirit steps in and intercedes for you. He is your constant helper, growing your relationship with God deeper every single day.

The Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is simply talking to God. It is the main way you communicate with Him — thanking Him, praising Him, being honest about what you've done wrong, and bringing Him your needs and concerns.

The more you pray, the closer you get to God. It builds a real relationship with Him — one where you learn to lean on Him rather than trying to figure everything out on your own.

Prayer is also how you seek direction when you're facing a big decision or going through a hard season. When you don't know which way to turn, prayer is where you go for guidance, wisdom, and the strength to keep moving forward.

Something else happens when you pray consistently — your heart begins to line up with what God wants. You start to let go of your own agenda and become more open to His plans for your life, even when they look different from what you expected.

At the end of the day, prayer is one of the most powerful things available to you as a believer. It connects you directly to God and opens the door for His presence, His power, and His peace to fill your life.

Walking by Faith

The Power of Prayer

The Power of Prayer

Walking by faith means trusting God even when life is uncertain or things aren't going the way you hoped. It means taking Him at His word and believing in who He is — even when you can't see what's coming next or how things are going to work out.

It takes courage. Walking by faith means stepping forward in obedience even when the path ahead isn't fully clear, trusting that God will provide what you need and show you the way as you go.

It's not just a one-time decision — it's a way of life. Every day, in every area of your life, you choose to depend on God rather than relying solely on your own strength or understanding.

And here's what makes it worth it — when you walk by faith, you get to see God show up. You experience things that can't be explained any other way. His faithfulness becomes real and personal to you, not just something you've heard about or read. Walking by faith is how you move from knowing about God to truly knowing Him.
